Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn!

I've been way too tired lately. I need to do something productive with my life before I go crazy. So anyway, the updates. Anime Boston was a blast like usual. I got to sleep on an actual bed instead of the floor. Erin slept in the closet. lol. I love AB, but I feel that it's gotten a bit too cliquey in the past couple of years. Whatever happened to the days when you could just sit down with a group of strangers in cosplay and start up a random conversation? Everyone seems so isolated now, like we're all in the same building but wolds apart on the inside, which is far from true. I mean, we're at a frikkin' ANIME CONVENTION! We all know we at least have one thing in common with all the thousands of other people walking about. It's like being in a room with a thousand introverts; Everyone laughs at the same jokes but we don't take the time to look around and share our sense of humor with others.

Enough of my philosophical rambling. On to more fun topics. So I've been coerced into going to AAC with my boyfriend who will be working as staff and will try to get me a similar position so I won't have to pay to get in. Always a plus. And I have confirmed on their homepage that NEFE will be in November of this year. I love these smaller cons. They're not overcrowded and stuffy but they're just as much fun, if not more. I remember hanging out with Johnny Yong Bosch after his panel with my friends and just talking with him for over an hour. When does that happen at big events like AB? Maybe I'll have costumes for these cons, maybe I won't. I highly doubt it though, knowing my enthusiasm towards costume making. Which is none.

Tourneys. That's been my word of the...semester? Round two of Sanguine has commenced. Team battles...interesting concept. We'll have to see where this goes. I still need to go through all my opponents previous entries to get an idea of how I'll be conducting this one. Henshin Scramble looks fun. I don't really have any transformation type characters so maybe I'll thown some of my old ideas together. The Silver Rose. This tournaments looks adorable. I wanna see just how charming my little Vice can be, since he seems to be having tough luck getting into the battle OCTs. Battle of the Bands. FINALLY a tourney practically made for Samael. For mu audition, I'm thinking HIM, since Ville Valo was a big inspiration for my later concepts of Sammy. I'm so excited. I can feel som of the old artistic spark coming back.

And that last bit of news for you. I've started playing Dungeons and Dragons. Yeah.
